2016 Feature Upgrades
Wolf Cinema is pleased to announce key feature and performance upgrades to our next-generation Wolf Cinema projector. Undergoing annual improvements since the original 2011 edition, the all-new for 2016 SDC-15 becomes your ideal home cinema projector enabled for both 2D and 3D (stereoscopic) viewing.
Wolf Cinema’s latest V4K™ technology (Gen4 “e-shift”) provides for advanced imaging excitement, delivering ultra-resolution 3840 X 2160 presentations from SD, HD and Ultra HD (4K) sources. The sophisticated engine merges two full frame images, and by a precision 0.5 pixel offset the projector can virtually eliminate the visible “pixel gate” as seen in other projectors.
Continuing this year is Wolf Cinema’s popular VariScope™ lens memory system. This technique enables rapid access to ten of your favorite widescreen aspect ratios – ex: 1.78:1, 1.85:1, 2.20:1, 2.35:1, 2.40:1 etc. – without the need for an external anamorphic lens. Now you can enjoy that full 2:35:1 CinemaScope® widescreen experience without unwanted top/bottom “black bars” on constant height screens.
Suitable on theater screens up to 14’ wide, the SDC-15 boasts a sixth generation three-chip, D-ILA® (Direct Drive Image Light Amplifier) light engine for Ultra HD fidelity viewing. D-ILA is an advanced LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) technology from JVC Kenwood, which produces stunning film-like imaging with deep contrast level performances and natural color renditions. The system is complemented by advanced video processing plus precision optics for razor-sharp image reproduction from today’s most demanding HD and 4K sources. Each projector is carefully hand-calibrated at our factory for top performance when viewing both 2D and 3D content.
The SDC-15 is delivered in an elegant high gloss black cabinet, complete with a system IR remote control, LAN and RS-232 system control capabilities. Updated Wolf Cinema 3D shutter glasses and active 3D signal emitter are also available to enjoy that immersive 3D experience with your entire family.

All Wolf projectors and processors are warranted for 3 years [36 months], parts & labor, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date (excluding the lamp). Lamps are warranted under this Limited Warranty for a period of six (6) months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date. If replacement parts and/or a lamp are provided under this limited warranty, such parts and/or lamp are warranted for the remaining portion (if any) of the original warranty period.
