AudioControl’s unveils at CEDIA 2014 its new 16 Channel Architect® 2660 multi-zone amplifier designed exclusively for the residential custom-install market

Seattle, WA – September 1st, 2014 – AudioControl will be unveiling the Architect 2660 at the CEDIA 2014 EXPO in Denver from September 11th-13th at its booth #546. The Architect 2660 is the latest addition to AudioControl’s highly successful Architect multi-zone amplifier series. AudioControl Architects are amongst the world’s best selling multi-zone amplifiers ranging from 2 channels up to 16 channels of cool-running, high performance, great sounding audio amplification engineered, designed and manufactured in the USA exclusively for the custom-install market.

The Architect Model 2660 outputs sixteen channels of high-power amplification in a compact market leading 2U chassis delivering 65 watts per channel at 8 Ohms, 100 watts per channel at 4 Ohms, and 175 watts at 8 Ohm bridged, all channels driven. It uses a cool running proprietary design, includes AudioControl’s LightDrive anti-clipping protection, input bussing capability, output pass-thru, master 12v trigger in/out and local 12v trigger inputs on all zones, signal sense as well as including a SPDIF input for digital sources.

The Architect 2660 is available in a black finish and is designed, engineered and manufactured in the rainforest of the Northwest somewhere North of Seattle! The Architect 2660 also comes with AudioControl’s standard 5-year warranty and is available exclusively to the residential custom-install and Pro-Audio market.
