Wolf Cinema presents one of the most advanced 2D/3D home projection systems yet available – the REF-700 cinema projector. This special platform has been fully optimized for 2D or 3D viewing, with ample dynamic range and stunning black level performance to fill home theater screens up to 14-feet wide.
Like all REF solutions, The REF-700 is built around a next generation, three-chip Texas Instruments DLP™ light engine, powered by a 700W xenon arc lamp for the perfect picture every time. Our “no compromise” approach to imaging excellence results in some of the finest home theater experiences attainable anywhere.
The system is delivered with your choice of four high-contrast Wolf Cinema VariScope™ lenses. These superior optics (originally developed for Cineplex use) provide razor sharp imagery from screen edge to edge, with no visual aberrations. The VariScope optics incorporate precision stepper motors within the optical drive system, enabling ultra-widescreen CinemaScope® viewing on appropriate constant height screens, without the need for an external anamorphic lens. All your favorite television and film aspect ratios: 1.33:1, 1.78:1, 1.85:1, 2.20:1, 2.35:1, 2.40:1 and more – can be stored into memory and recalled with the simple touch of a button.
And we don’t stop at 2D viewing excellence. Wolf Cinema’s “triple flash” 3D technology option provides for smooth, flicker-free imaging from all of today’s popular video sources – including that from Blu-ray players, broadcast TV shows and the latest immersive 3D video gaming consoles.
The projector’s integrated “i-box” design (delivered with an external fan and intake/exhaust ducting) helps keep core temperatures at precise levels, extending both the projector and lamp life. Multiple video inputs, IR and RS-232 control capabilities enable seamless integration with some of today’s most advanced home control systems.
The Wolf Cinema REF-700 system is now available as a 2D viewing option only, or may be ordered
as a comprehensive 3D stereoscopic edition (the 3D ensemble includes the cinema projector, IR emitter and four sets of active LCD shutter glasses – additional glasses sold separately).

All Wolf projectors and processors are warranted for 3 years [36 months], parts & labor, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date (excluding the lamp). Lamps are warranted under this Limited Warranty for a period of six (6) months or 1000 hours, whichever comes first, from the original Wolf Cinema invoice date. If replacement parts and/or a lamp are provided under this limited warranty, such parts and/or lamp are warranted for the remaining portion (if any) of the original warranty period.
